Me-Made-March: The end...

Hello everyone!

Can you imagine that March is already gone! And Me-Made-March with it? I had so much fun taking daily pictures. Every time, I would meet up with my Mister, and every time, it felt like a cheesy teenager-y date! During this month, I got so productive! And I tried to fill self made gaps in my wardrobe: mainly blouses, and a simple dress that could be paired up with many cardis and colors. Here are the last days!

Day 22: This became my favorite dress!

Day 23: Mmmmm, sunshine, one of my 3 MMM blouses!

Day 24: I became yellow addicted, here is a MM dress!

Day 25: Me Made dress, with a pink belt!

Day 26: My first lazy Me-Made outfit... I really wanted to wear my petticoat, so this time, I am only wearing my Me-Made yellow bow, on the top of my head ;)

Day 27: My MMM blouse number two!

Day 28: The tunic is one of my oldest projects, and I still love it!

Day 29: I really like this outfit, I tried to roll my jeans hem, and I will completely adopt it more often. Me-Made blouse again...

Day 30: Second and last lazy outfit. I was cranky because it was raining and all I have for you is my wet Me-Made coat!

Day 31: last day and sneak peak on my Me-Made blouse number 3!

I am going to attempt a summery panorama... Tadaaa! *day 6 is missing, but it was my peplum jacket and the picture of day 14 is still lost...*

Now, my top 5 is: Days 4, 10, 22, 29, 31. And my all time favorite must be day 10!

To the conclusion!
1) I cannot wait for Self-Stitched-September!
2)I will have to improve a few skills, photoshop anyone? I love Patty's awesome global picture!
3) I need to get cracking on pants!
4) I could use 2 other basic skirts
5) I should try to customize a few cardigans

Me Made March, a nice week (14-21)

That's me again! It is that time of the week again. Now, what did I wear from Monday to Monday? Well, it is starting wrong because I have lost the picture of day 14... Oh well, you will forgive me right?

On day 15, I wore my Crepe dress. We had friends over and it is a perfect "hostess" dress. Also, I don't wear it out because it is still too cold... I have cooked a yummy tomato/pepper soup, made an avocado relish and baked scones. There was also a sweet potato pie for desert...

On day 16, I took my "sew-alonged" coat out of the box for the first time since we moved. And it deserves its own MMM feature! We took the picture along a canal, that is usually very cute... However, it is getting drained and cleaned at the moment... Therefore, not a pretty view.

On day 17, we went out to celebrate my new job announcement! That was a perfect occasion to give my lace Macaron a little bit of fresh air.

On day 18, we stayed in. I wore my Rebecca Taylor blouse because it is the most comfy thing that I have sewn. This picture gives you a sneak preview on the project I was working on at the time... mmmmmmm, a white belt...

On day 19, I wore my Macaron skirt to go out to a silent movie. I just love this skirt...

On day 20, I wore my grey knit dress. We just went for a walk in the town. It was the first day of spring, and the sun actually shone!

On day 21, I wore the same grey knit dress, but with other pieces.

And, this was today's outfit... This week flied so fast...

Me Made March: preview of new projects!

Here is a whole week of Me-Made-March!

It is really weird, because I actually have four new finished projects, and I somehow procrastinate blogging about them. Not that they are bad at all. That is... just weird... This is why two of them are in this new series of Me Made March, that will make me blog about them very soon!

We started having the sun back, the temperatures were around 10 to 15 degrees (Celsius!) and the sun was shining through the large windows of our apartment. It felt so great to be working on the table that is right next to them! I love those first warmer days that bring spring closer. I cannot wait to go out and about with only a cardigan or a big shawl! I am definitively a Spring and Fall girl!

Oh, also, I wanted to mention that I do not write the brands of my other things. It is no because I am lazy, but because they all come from Belgium/Ireland/The Netherlands, and very few people in the blogging world (mainly in the US and Canada) know about them. However, you can always ask if you are interested...

So, let's go around my town! The firs one who guesses where it is wins all of my respect!

This was day 7. There was a huge crowd in the streets because of the Carnaval, and we went to hide to take the picture in a very narrow street. I am wearing a double knit brown Me-Made  dress and I will blog about it tomorrow. That's a promise!

Day 8... We went to visit Mister's Grand Ma at the hospital and it was already dark outside when we came back. I am wearing a new Me-Made skirt. It will be posted the day after tomorrow ;). I love it for a lot of different reasons, and I will make sure to write them all!

Day 9 was pretty windy and it mad the dress pretty unflattering! We are in the shopping area of the town. Lately, I am loving the yellow/black combo. Under my (2) cardis, I am wearing a Me-Made dress blogged here.

The outfit of day 10 is my favorite of this series! It is my Rachel Comey Me-Made dress. This is a small square hidden in the side roads of the main square of the town. Behind me, you see the (dirty because of carnaval) canal and the houses that are build around and on top of it! It will be a perfect place to go and read books in the sun during warmer days!

On day ten, I stayed home and I was in a cosy mood, I am wearing a Me-Made Tara dress made during one of Grosgrain's sew-alongs. It was before my blogging days, but you can see more pictures of it on my Burdastyle. This is on the main square of the town, and you an see the city hall right behind me.

Day 12 was groceries/cleaning/visitors/studying day. A real Saturday! This was also the day I watched my first episode ever of "Big Love". Oh Man! I love that show! I do not know why I only discovered it now. I am wearing a summer Me-Made Maxidress. Also from before the blog. This is a shot of our side entry, it shows our ugly inside kind of parking... And Me barefoot on stairs, which did hurt.

And finally, on day 13, I wore my new dress again, You will be able to read about it soon enough ;). This is a shot of inside our new place. In front of our "IKEA wall". By the way, did you ever visit this blog: IKEA hackers? It is about people that use pieces of their furnitures and model them differently! You HAVE to check it out!

That is it for today!
